"let the cat out of the bag"
Introducing:
#2 in the "Love for Alyssa " Series
This piece was custom designed for the 2026 7th Annual Live for Alyssa fundraiser, to honor Alyssa’s legacy and support the mission of Make Our Schools Safe
For our new followers Alyssa Alhadeff was one of the 17 precious souls who lost their life in the tragic and brutal shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas HS shooting in Parkland 2018.
Her parents founded Make Our Schools Safe in her honor.
Proceeds from the gala will support MakeOurSchoolsSafe.org efforts to implement silent panic alarms, mental health programs, and advanced safety training in schools nationwide.
They also championed "Alyssa’s Law", advocating for critical safety measures like silent panic alarms directly connected to law enforcement.
Alyssa’s Law has passed so far in, New York, New Jersey, Florida, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Oklahoma, Georgia, Washington, and Oregon!
"Love for Alyssa 2" contains 17 rings to honor the 17 souls that lost their lives and will never be forgotten.
Each ring contains 8 segments to represent Alyssa's number 8
