A little over a year and a half ago I took over my brothers custom apparel & promotional products business! I went into it with the hopes of just making it month to month to cover my bills. What I did not expect, was the overwhelming amount of business that would be coming my way. 25 year old me, who couldn’t figure how to get her feet under her, would be shocked to know that I would be running 2 expanding companies simultaneously while also adding in a Bridal line - 💍🥂 The past 1.5 years has been one of the most challenging and rewarding times in my life. God has worked in ways that I never even imagined. It has not been pretty by any stretch. I’ve had to sacrifice relationships, I had my heart absolutely broken into pieces, I work insane hours, I’ve had to learn how to fix machines, come up with back up plans, constantly build a portfolio of clients, and battle anxiety/depression, ocd, an eating disorder & my perfectionist self every day! To the thousands of girls who follow this I want you to know that you can do ANYTHING, regardless of how hard you think it is. Life is not pretty but that’s the beauty of it. You look back and one day it all makes sense. I can’t wait to get back on here, now that my feet are under me (at least one) to help inspire girls to live Simply Du Jour!!
