The ruffled curtains aren’t usually your style, but somehow they keep drawing you in. Maybe it’s the faded florals. Maybe it’s the afternoon light. Suddenly you’re wondering if dusty mauve might be the perfect paint color after all.

A shelf of stoneware catches your eye.

Then you stop.

The blue-bowed geese.

For a second you’re eight years old again, standing in Grandma’s kitchen while cinnamon rolls bake in the oven.

You count the place settings and smile.

They’ll look perfect in that Ethan Allen hutch you found last week.

A few booths later you’ve added brass candlesticks, a tiny watercolor that reminds you of a family trip, and a ceramic treasure you didn’t know you needed.

The music drifts from Bon Jovi to Whitney to U2.

Then you spot it.

A floral dress hanging at Vintage Laundry.

The kind of dress that looks like it stepped straight out of 1987.

You hold it up, catch your reflection in the mirror, and laugh.

“What would it hurt to try it on?”

A few minutes later you’re singing along to I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.

Except…

you have.

It feels like the ’80s.

And somehow, it feels like home.

This sweet print, is the inspo, behind my first ever vignette sale. Think strawberries, blue and white dishes, baskets and fair amount of complimentary quirk! 🍓🍓🍓

Vingette will be posted Thursday morning around 9am. At 7pm that evening, I'll post a break down...individual item pics (including multiple views and dimensions) and their prices, with tax. If you see it and want it, type SOLD in the comments of desired item. First to comment, gets it! Easy right? I should also mention, even if you see that someone has already typed SOLD, you should too. I will not hold an item longer than 7 days, without payment or a message to make arrangements. If day 7 rolls by and those things haven't happened, it goes to the next SOLD, in line. I hope that's a clear explanation.

As we refine and get the kinks out, sales will be local pickup only. Pickup spot? Zimporium and Friends @ 608 Jefferson St. She is open every 1st and 3rd weekend, with bonus pop-up days always announced on her page Zimporium 1966 . If you're not following her, I recommend doing so. Cute shop, full of cute stuff!
