My latest hobby. Woodburning.
Found the blank stand at a thrift for $4.
After I finished, I put a light stain in a clear matte coat over it .

The top is the finished picture. This was my first large project. It took about
3.5 hours .

My favorite way to make hand warmers or even a hat- find a stitch you love.
For hand warmers, you simply crochet a rectangle that will fit around your hand. Then when you sew it up, you leave a space for your thumb.

Hats are a little trickier.
I think I found a hat video with this stitch. The handwarmers are a different stitch than the hat, but it’s not real noticeable.

Also I prefer to make hats from the brim up.

Any other ladies have a closet full of T-shirt’s they never wear? Many times they aren’t flattering, are too boxy— maybe you’ve lost weight like I have - and they don’t look feminine or they are just boring.

Here’s a few great ways to up cycle them into fun more flattering ways that will make you want to wear them.

Also a tip -when you cut off the bottom of the T-shirt, save it, and you can use it as a headband or a hair tie .

For oversized shirts add a ladder to the sides as well as back.

YouTube has many tutorials on this. Try a few different thu ga out- and modify to your tastes.
It only takes about 10-30 minutes to make most of these and they are no sew.

If I get time I’ll try to make a tutorial in the future .
