🎟️TIX FOR ANALOG CLUB 2.0 ARE LIVE – link in bio! Join us on Thursday, 6/18, for a hands-on workshop guided by local mixed media artist and printmaker Lindsey Frances Jones (), where we will create unique, multi-layered monoprints using a reusable gel (Gelli) plate, printmaking inks, stencils, cut paper, and found materials. This experimental, beginner-friendly session requires no prior drawing experience.

🫟 Tickets are only $45 and all materials are provided. You are also welcome to bring your own cut stencils, paper shapes, leaves/flowers, or flat textured materials to incorporate into your prints, but it’s not required.

📵 And in true spirit of this series, we’re going analog. Expect music coming from a boombox (yes, that’s right. It’s been a few months since we’ve broken up with Spotify and it feels great!) and you are welcome to change the CD or cassette once we finish an album; and we might ask you to deposit your phone in a safe box (fine, it’s optional!), so we all can go screen-free during these couple hours. We’ll have our Polaroid camera, too, because we know you need evidence that you’re doing things! ♥️

Get in, babe, we’re getting off our phones and making things with our hands! 🚫🤳🏽✋🏽 Help us kick-off Analog Club, a monthly meetup for those of you who are tired of all the AI slop and want to learn something new, be in community, and get back to using your hands. There’ll be art-making, letter-writing, workshops, and just days for body-doubling.

We’re starting off with collage-making with the one and the only Kiki, AKA ♥️ an incredible collage artist and dear friend to so many of us. If you’ve been to the shop in the last month, then you’ve seen and bought her collage kits!

Tickets are only $25! That includes all the supplies and your very own collage kit that Kiki put together herself.

Is there a “rule” for styling a coffee table? Maybe, but rules are suckers! So I say layer your favorite pretty books and objects on it like it’s a visual board of things that inspire you at the moment. Perhaps the only thing for me to keep in mind is to have a tray, a box, or some sort of lidded container to hide your smaller utilitarian items like matchbooks and lighters to keep it from looking cluttered or just thrown about. Otherwise, it’s your coffee table, screw what Negative Nancy on the internet is gonna say, just go and have at it!

They were labeled “pencil cups” when we acquired a lot of these from an antiques dealer. But these are totally designed to be multi-purpose.

We’re here watching the light change slowwwly and waiting for the season to turn… 🌤️🌱 Until then, we’re taking shelfies.

They have been rescuing homeless cats and kittens from unsafe and undesirable situations since 2010, predominantly in Jersey City, Hoboken, Union City and Weehawken. (We adopted our boys Cheddar & Colby-Jack through Jersey Cats!) They are a volunteer-run and foster-based org and rely on donations to pay for veterinary care, food and supplies for JerseyCats in foster care, and for the spay and neuter of feral cats. While there are many incredible women-led orgs and charities that support and uplift women in need in our city, our animal friends need our help, too, and so do the people that dedicate time and effort to helping them.

Thank you for making a donation!

Don’t miss it! Tag a friend who needs to be here! 💕

A little snippet of tonight’s Black History Month performance-turned-open mic workshop with the one and only reg e. gaines. If you were part of the audience tonight, you were part of the show, and you just took a masterclass in poetry and performance.

Thank you reg e. gaines, Calvin Gaines, and Mark Wilson! Much obliged to you all for coming out and to for hosting us!
