Held along Constitution Avenue, the Parade is the largest Memorial Day remembrance in the United States, honoring men and women of the armed forces who have fallen in service to our country, from the American Revolution through today. The event begins at 10:00 a.m., and participants will include veterans, military units, dozens of high school bands, historical reenactors, families of fallen heroes, and more.

It’s an important public service message because repairing and maintaining our roadways is, unfortunately, a dangerous job. In the Associated General Contractors of America 2025 Work Zone Awareness Survey, 61% of highway contractors reported crashes in their work zones, 43% of which resulted in worker injuries or fatalities.
