A little work in progress on St. Basil the Great☦️ this is just my way to unwind and pray. Maybe one day I’ll be able to be an actual iconographer. Until then. I practice and enjoy the beautiful icons of our beloved Saints and pray.

I’m starting to prioritize taking care of my body as a way to be able to keep doing the work I’ve been doing and it’s awful but in the best way. I definitely am not hating the red light sauna like I thought I would after my workout. I’m thankful there is these kinds of things local to me in my little town life.

How much is your grocery bill? I know that if my food is going to be expensive I might as well get the local and fresh and high quality Glyphosate free stuff.

I may be tired from the organizing and cooking and baking with our wonderful church Christ the Savior Greek Orthodox Church all the donations we’ve received and all the help we’ve gotten from friends, family/parishioners you’ve all made this possible to do John and I have been coordinating our meals with the TLC Community Center and my sister Bethanyand Nick Wi******er so they could have meals go to who needed them. We are just one part of a chain of help that’s coordinating to make it all happen. Coming together with zero ego and all for our community. I couldn’t help myself from choking up watching that Blackhawk get loaded and take off to Poga so they can get warm food in their bellies this makes it all worth it ❤️❤️
We can’t slow down and trickle away. This is going to be a long road. The new might have you believe it’s not as big of a problem or that we’re farther along in the cleanup and into rebuilding. We haven’t even started to scratch the surface.

So I went to take food to Hunter First Baptist Church this morning because I was asked by a friend that they needed hot breakfast every morning. Little did I know that when I showed up that it was Red Cross still in our county. So I went in gave the food and then asked questions because why in the world do they need food donated by other organizations and they sure as heck didn’t pay out from their donated money such as the 500,000 thousand dollars just from Morgan wallen alone. And then they had the audacity to ask for us to source socks and Underwear for the kids because apparently they can’t get a list together of needs and have it approved to be bought. And the building they are in is donated. So where is all that money going if not to take care of the people in the shelter. This is disgraceful. I won’t be bringing any more food or clothes to help out an organization that is predatory and doesn’t even use their funds properly.
