📣 We’re Evaluating Our Store Hours!

We want our store hours reflect when our customers are actually shopping (not looking at drops).

Over the next little while, we’ll be looking specifically at customer shopping traffic and sales to see what days and times are most beneficial for our shoppers and our store.

Our current hours are:

🛍️ Tuesday: 10 AM – 4 PM
🛍️ Wednesday: 10 AM – 4 PM
🛍️ Thursday: 10 AM – 6 PM
🛍️ Friday: 10 AM – 4 PM
🛍️ Saturday: 10 AM – 4 PM

We’re especially taking a closer look at Tuesdays and Thursday evenings, since those times are very slow (i.e., not much shopping traffic).

We’re going to test things out this week and see what the numbers tell us. 😊

Our goal is simple: to be open when YOU shop, while making sure our hours are sustainable for our small business.

I am proud to call Johnstown home. ❤️

Thursday’s storm was a natural disaster that affected thousands of people throughout our area. Yet almost immediately, we saw something that says so much about who we are as a community: neighbors helping neighbors.

People with generators helped others save their perishables. Neighbors gathered together to remove trees that had fallen on homes and properties. People worked to clear trees and debris from roadways so others could get through. Everywhere you looked, people were simply asking, “How can I help?”

Johnstown is no stranger to hardship and natural disasters. Watching our community come together over these past few days reminded me so much of what I witnessed during the 1977 flood.

Our people are tough. We are resilient. But more importantly, we are kind. That willingness to help one another is what makes a collection of houses and streets a true community.

I have lived in many places around the world, and I can honestly say that I have never experienced a community quite as strong as this one.

I am proud to call Johnstown home. ❤️

The store MAY be closed Saturday, September 5, due to power outage. I will assess the situation in a few hours and update this post.

Westmont Borough declared a State of Emergency and advised people to not travel in the area.
