There was a time when MS made dancing feel impossible.

But at my son’s wedding, I was dancing again—even learning a twirl for our mother-son dance.

Progress doesn’t always look perfect. Sometimes it simply looks like returning to something you love.

Pull-ups with MS 💪

They may not look perfect. They may not look like someone else’s. But strength looks different for everyone.

I keep working on what my body can do today and celebrating the progress along the way.

Start where you are. Keep moving forward.

Yes, you can!

Breathing is something we all do, but when movement takes so much concentration, it can be easy to forget about it.

With MS, I’ve learned to pay more attention to my breath—not just during breathing exercises, but while walking, running, lifting weights, working on balance, or simply moving through my day.

My new Substack article, “Breathing With Multiple Sclerosis,” is up now, along with my breathing reel.

Start where you are. Take a moment and notice your breath.

Yes, You Can! 🧡

Every day I walk, I’m amazed.

Not because it’s perfect. Not because I never think about it.

But because, after living with multiple sclerosis for 40 years, walking is still something I never take for granted.

Every workout, every step, and every challenge is an investment in tomorrow’s walk.

Sometimes I wish I had this strength and mobility when my children were young. Then I remember that I was there for every moment—I just did things in my own way.

Today, I don’t take a single step for granted.

I wrote about why walking still amazes me and how strength has changed the way I experience aging.

This wasn’t about a perfect headstand. It was about rediscovering a part of myself I thought I’d lost. 🧡

Forty years after my MS diagnosis, I’m still discovering what’s possible.

If you’d like to read the story behind this moment, it’s on my Substack. Link in bio. Yes, You Can!

Upper-body strength can support everyday movement, posture, balance, and confidence.

These six levels begin seated and progress to push-ups and a farmer’s carry. Start where you are today, use support when needed, and move with control.

Each side may feel different—and that’s okay.
