Home is where the beach is. The inspiration for KIPA BEACH comes from our playground – the deep blue seas, the sun shining bright and the soft white sands. Growing up on Maui, the beach naturally became the stomping grounds where friends and family would come together for nothing other than good times and tan lines. KIPA (pronounced key-pa) is an abbreviation of the Hawaiian word Ho'okipa (pronounced ho-o-key-pa). In Hawaiian, the meaning of Ho'okipa is "hospitality" and KIPA is translated as "to visit." We truly value this welcoming spirit of aloha, which is ultimately what we want to share with all beachgoers.
