Left picture is from Covid times, I was making masks and walked into a gas station wearing one and the owner asked if I had any more. He bought every single one I had and sold them in store. I’ll never forget the feeling I had knowing something I made was worth selling to the public.
Fast forward and I was given the opportunity to hand make “Mini Monè” All In Wembley exclusive alternate dresses. The feeling I had watching the merch team hang them on display to be sold made me more emotional than I thought it would.
On the walk back to the hotel I just kept thinking, how did this amazing accomplishment happen? Well it all started over a decade ago when l was in the Navy and Chief Ray Wendt said “Estell you’ve got a lot of great ideas, why don’t you earn one.” What I took from that is, no matter how good the idea is, trust is more important.
“Success is built on the shoulders of giants” so id like to thank mine.
The biggest thank you to Christina Meyers for trusting me, thank you Jake Manning for your guidance and helping me understand how this works, thank you All Elite Wrestling & Tony Khan for the platform, thank you Harley Cameron for the idea of a custom dress on the original puppet which led to this, thank you C**t Cabana for listening to me drone on about this and answering my questions, thank you Big D Moné for being such a positive influence on the work that I do and a special thank you to Natalie and Ava who rhinestoned every single one of those dresses while I prepared gear for ALL In.
This might be a one off thing or there could be more, who knows, but this experience has meant the world to me.
And Chief if you’re out there, thank you for the wise words because I earned this idea.
