A vision from Myanmar—four dresses, perfect construction. Seeing Jaroi’s Kachin evening wear on the KC Fashion Week runway felt bigger than fashion. These garments carry culture, history, and identity through color, geometry, and craft—work that has long existed quietly within Kansas City’s Myanmar community, now stepping into a broader spotlight. Grateful we had the chance to share a small piece of that beauty with the city.
