Since I was 9, I knew that I wanted to be a designer. From there I pursued my dream, learning to sew shortly there after, so I could master the craft of garment creation. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in apparel studies from Stephens College where I not only dug deeper into my passion for fashion design and creativity but also discovered the joy of storytelling through design. To me, being a custom designer is less about making a garment with my name on it and more about making a garment that directly reflects & uplifts the wearer. Fashion is a form of art, but it is nothing if it does not speak to or tell a story about the person wearing it. I’ve been sewing since I was 12 years old, so I discovered this passion at a very young age. Being guided by creativity, combining my passion for garment creation and people is something I will enjoy doing for as long as I am blessed to do it.
