At Rightfully Sewn, challenges are being transformed into meaningful opportunities. And that transformation is something truly worth celebrating.

We’re proud to recognize the newest graduates of the Rightfully Sewn Seamstress Training Program. Their achievement represents far more than learning to sew; it marks the beginning of new possibilities. Each graduate has gained a valuable, marketable skill, one that empowers them to contribute to their community, support others, and build a more secure and independent future for themselves.

What may have once felt out of reach can now feel attainable. Through dedication, perseverance, and the support of this program, these goals are no longer distant dreams, but real opportunities within reach.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to this remarkable group of graduates.

Happy New Year, Kansas City! Our new year’s resolution is to help you achieve yours ✨️

Whether that’s by teaching you how to sew in one of our public classes or giving you the knowledge & training to change your career path in our Seamstress Training Program, we are here for you. In fact, we are now taking applications for our 2025 Spring session until January 10th!

The mission with our Seamstress Training Program has always been about helping those with barriers to employment or those looking for a new career to learn the trade of sewing so that they can gain the skills to create a sustainable living for themselves & their families. We love being able to help those wanting to change their lives feel like they have the tools and knowledge needed to succeed not only in this industry, but to also be a part of this amazing sewing KC community.
