Since I’m not prepping for shows this season, I’m working on some other projects within the brand that I always wanted to do but never had time for…like practicing my photography and editing.

I have a camera full of photos that my girls and I took a couple seasons ago before a show.
I finally have some time to edit them.

Prepare to be enchanted by the multifaceted world of Lauren Ba**er as she graces the runway at Kansas City Fashion Week on Friday, September 22nd!

Lauren's journey in the world of fashion is a fusion of her three great passions: art/fashion, animals, and mental health advocacy. Determined not to choose between these equally important facets of her life, she embarked on a mission to merge them into one harmonious vision.

With a heart that beats for art and fashion, Lauren launched her own fashion line, known for its bold, confident, whimsical, and ethereal designs. Her creations are best described as ethereal with a twist of couture, offering a unique blend of creativity and sophistication.

But Lauren's fashion line serves a greater purpose beyond the runway. It becomes a vehicle for supporting her other passions: animal rescue and mental health advocacy. A portion of her sales proceeds is dedicated to either animal rescue efforts or mental health non-profit organizations.

Lauren's advocacy for mental health is woven into her collections, with each new line telling a poignant story about mental health. These stories often reflect her own experiences or struggles, aiming to demonstrate that beauty can emerge even from the darkest of times. Her mission is to normalize conversations about mental health and break the stigma surrounding this important topic.

So I wanted to introduce you to my models that will be helping me to bring this collection to life on the runway this Friday 🥰

So many of these ladies have been with me for years…and when I say some have been with me for a decade, it’s not an exaggeration. I love these wonderful humans so much and can’t wait to see them again.

And I’m so excited to meet everyone that is new to the team this season! It’s going to be one of the best seasons to date 💕 . .

I can’t believe it’s been almost 3 weeks since , I already miss it.
So many times I’m exhausted by the time show day comes. I feel like I can’t fully enjoy it because by that time I’m ready to just get into bed, eat pizza, and watch TV.

And while this show was no different, and I couldn’t wait to eat pizza in bed lol
I also was so incredibly fortunate, as I am every season, to have the best possible team behind me.
I may be working and sewing until the last moment, but without models, nothing goes on the runway.
This incredible group of humans not only brought the designs to life and told this story on the runway, they made everything up until that moment worth it.

Very few know, this show almost didn’t happen for me. There was a point I wasn’t sure I could do it anymore. This season has been hard, it’s made me dig deeper than I’ve ever had to, and it seemed at one point all signs were pointing to just giving up this season.

So to be able to make it to the show, have these amazing humans pull it all together AND do it all while dancing 🙃…I can’t explain the feeling.
So thank you to this group of amazing, funny, kind, talented, lovely human beings. I can’t express enough to each of you how incredibly lucky I feel to know you and work with you.
You made the evening fun, reminded me why I continue doing this, and why I love it so much.

I hope to get to work with each of you again soon 💕 . .

Happy International Women’s Day 🖤

I am so incredibly lucky to be surrounded by the most amazing, supportive, talented, smart, kind women I’ve ever met.
Especially within an industry that can be competitive to say the least, I am lucky to have found my place within the most supportive groups imaginable.

While these photos are from this last Fall season, I have been lucky beyond measure to work with the best women each and every fashion week season, photoshoot, event, etc.

Thank you to everyone I have every worked with whether on the runway or behind the scenes. Without your continued support I would not be where I am today. Because of you I get to continue doing what I love and look forward to everything the future holds.
