My favorite pieces sold last night at the art walk!

I met some amazing people I’ll never forget.
I met a woman and we both cried with raw and genuine emotion. She took something home with her that no one else did. I am so grateful for her open heart and mind, we connected and loved one another even though we had only talked for a few short minutes. I shared and she shared and it happened to open up both of our worlds.❤︎

I spent time with another woman, it’s her birthday today, Ms Iva Joe. She loves art more than anyone I’ve ever met. She stood there and kept me company for 3 hours of the night. She’s 86 today and I haven’t felt more inspired by anyone for my craft than I have by her. We shared so many things in common it was almost frightening. From family names to ethnicity and more. She was so lovely and I hope to spend more time with her to find out what else we share.
