Put in that hard work and enjoy your time on stage! π

It has somehow been nearly a whole month since I competed in my 1st ~all natural~ body building competition & honestly Iβm still quite speechless.
I am so eager to finally share my stage photos and my story π
Last fall, I set a goalβ I decided I was going to compete & win in a sport I knew little about. I had never followed a meal plan before. I was, and still kinda am, a rookie when it comes to strength training. I think few people really believed this to be possible for me, including myself at times.
Iβll be the first to admit I had a less than perfect prep. Between traveling every month, to unexpected life struggles, oh and that one, like thousand calorie skillet cookie I accidentally ate from π₯² lol BUT really..
For 16 weeks I didnβt miss. I did not miss a single strength training sessionππΌββοΈ I was at .kc 5 days a week. I did not skip a minute of my cardio ππΌββοΈ I tracked every single thing I consumed
It was rewarding yet challenging. I learned a lot more about myself than I planned to. My biggest take away: I learned how to say NO to the people, thoughts, habits, etc. that stood in my way. As a recovering people pleaser, this one was hard but necessary for success.
At times.. I still canβt help but wonder how tf did this happened? How did I WIN Bikini Open Short, Bikini Novice Short, and Bikini Novice Overall?!!!! π₯ππ
After taking the last few weeks to reflect on this journey, (and wow what an experience it has been) I am so proud to realize that I am actually NOT surprised. I DO know exactly how this happened. I set a goal, I envisioned the outcome I wanted and I got to work. I made a plan, and I executed it. I fckn did that s**t, yβall. ππΌ
If I say Iβm going to do it, you can consider it done β
So yeah, this Wednesday my goes out to myself π«ΆπΌ
A huge shout out to everyone who made this possibleβ it truly does take a village. Iβm so, so grateful for mine. Thank you to my supporters, I hope I made you proud π₯Ήβ¨
