Celebrating my wonderful mom and what a wonderful Nana she is to my awesome kids!!! Just back from the H&H Show and so many people asked about Donna at the show- she has been there by my side through my 35 + years traveling to trade shows ❤️ her creative talents never cease to amaze me!!
If you visited our booth at the show you saw some of her wonderful handmade treasures! Thanks Mom!!!! I LOVE YOU TO PIECES!!

We are wearing quilt coats my mom made for one of her original businesses - selling apparel and bags made from salvaged vintage quilts ❤️ what’s old is new again!
Love that we have come full circle with my Treasured Threadz faux patchwork panels for embellishing denim and more!

Ready for a big day setting up our booth at !! I filmed this a couple days ago from my garage in KC. Setting up the booth ahead was a big project- if you are on the shelf floor come visit booth 1700 and see me tonight at the Sample it event!

Introducing Happy the Yo-Yo Clown Pattern! I'm heading to H + H Americas on Monday to exhibit in booth #1700. Here is a sneak peak at one of the many new products that I am introducing. This cute character was inspired Jingle Bell Jack, a vintage fabric pal featured in my keepsake book: Love You to Pieces: A Gift of Friendship. I love this project because yo-yo making is an easy and fun fabric project for all ages. The pattern features a 6 inch Christmas ornament and a 10 inch playmate. The tools featured in the video are Clover USA Yo-Yo Makers. If you own a retail store and will be attending H +H, please stop by for a visit!

One of my favorite QuiltCon moments in Raleigh — meeting Zak Khchai of Atelier Malesherbes Paris who traveled all the way from France. I love his smiling face with one of the stars of my Love You to Pieces book. Isn't she a doll!

I really cherish how quilting connects creatives from all over the world. Such a special community.

And yes… his retreat in France is now on my wish list. 🇫🇷

Rock Chalk! KU wins!! See the lighted court that made the news- it is being removed and replaced by hardwood - VINTAGE TRADITIONS ARE THE BEST but it was fun to experience the technology in person.

Crafting in my jams this morning - making a KU shirt to celebrate my alma mater in the Big 12 tourney! KU basketball- 🏀 ❤️Love you to Pieces!! Printed a photo I took of a couple vintage Jayhawks to a fabric sheet and added ricrac trim- ironed it on with the amazing M3Pro! Time to head to on the KC Streetcar to watch some tonight against TCU - 8:30 ! PS I need a ticket!
