Just a few more days until we begin our new chapter in Seattle. 🤍 I am beyond excited for what’s ahead, while feeling incredibly grateful for everything I’ve experienced here on Kauai.

Nine beautiful years on this special island have given me so much more than I could have imagined — meaningful connections, community, beautiful friendships that blossomed into ohana, wonderful clients, unforgettable places, and, most importantly, the gift of slowing down and truly being present.

Kauai has shaped me in ways I’ll carry with me forever. This place, and the people who have been part of my journey here, will always hold such a special place in my heart.

Here’s to honoring the chapter that’s been, soaking up these last few days, and stepping into the next one with an open heart and so much excitement. 🌺✨

After more than 6.5 unforgettable years, we’ve officially closed the doors to our Kauaʻi retail storefront. ❤️
Packing up the shop and emptying the space has been emotional, but our hearts are full of gratitude for every customer, friend, and supporter who walked through our doors, shared stories with us, and became part of our journey. Mahalo for allowing us to be a small part of your lives.

While this chapter has come to an end, a new adventure is just beginning! 🌲We’re heading to Seattle, where you can continue to shop online. Although we won’t have a retail storefront to start, we’re already dreaming, planning, and creating. Something exciting is brewing for 2027…so stay tuned! 👀 Make sure you’re following us so you don’t miss what’s next.

If you’re in the Seattle area, we’d love to see you at our first event. Join us at the Live Aloha Hawaiian Cultural Festival at Seattle Center on September 13, from 11:00 AM–6:00 PM. We’ll be set up indoors in the Armory, and we can’t wait to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new ones.

Today, we close a beautiful chapter as our brick-and-mortar home here on Kauai. 💛
It’s bittersweet packing up the space that has been filled with so many memories, incredible clients, and so much love. We are endlessly grateful for every person who walked through our doors and supported us along the way. You helped make this chapter one we’ll always cherish.

Now, we’re packing up and continuing our journey to the beautiful Emerald City—Seattle! 🍂☕️🌧️

We’re looking forward to crisp fall leaves, misty weather, endless coffee shops, and reconnecting with old clients while meeting so many new faces throughout the Pacific Northwest.

After an incredible journey in Hawaii, our Kapaa storefront will be closing on July 31st.

While we’re saying goodbye to our physical shop on Kauai, this is not the end of our story - it’s the beginning of a new chapter. Our new home base will be Seattle, where Kauai Handmade will continue to grow through pop-up jewelry workshops, private one-on-one jewelry-making training, mobile permanent jewelry services, and bespoke jewelry design.

While our home base has changed, the heart of Kauai Handmade remains the same. The spirit of aloha, the friendships we’ve built, and the inspiration we found on Kauai will always be at the center of everything we create.

Hi, I’m Stephanie. For those of you who don’t know me, I’m the owner and jeweler behind Kauai Handmade.
After more than 6.5 years of running this brick-and-mortar business on my own, I’ve made the difficult decision to close our physical Kauai location at the end of July.
While this chapter is coming to an end, Kauai Handmade is not going anywhere. The business will continue online, and I’ll still be working directly with clients on custom pieces and new designs.
I’ve decided to move back to the mainland to be closer to my family, especially my mom. This wasn’t a decision I made lightly. It came after more than two years of reflection, planning, and soul searching.
Over the past couple of years, so much has changed for me. I’ve become more health conscious and discovered new passions alongside jewelry making. I completed both yoga and barre teacher trainings, became a barre instructor, and began teaching at a local studio. Watching movement transform not only people’s bodies and posture, but also their mindset and overall well-being, has been incredibly rewarding. I love encouraging others to find strength, confidence, and balance through movement, and that work has brought a new sense of fulfillment to my life.
This is not goodbye. I will continue creating jewelry and teaching fitness as I begin this next chapter back home.
To everyone who has supported Kauai Handmade over the years, whether you’ve purchased a piece, shared my work, stopped by the shop, or simply followed along - Mahalo nui loa (Thank You). Your support has meant more than I can put into words.

I can’t believe we made it to 8 YEARS today. Eight years ago, I officially registered this business in Hawaii. It started as a small jewelry collection—resin mixed with shells I found on the beaches of Kauai. I added my own flair, even though I’d spent most of my life working with numbers and never thought I had a creative side. That curiosity turned into a passion, and eventually into a deep dive into jewelry making. From those early resin shell pieces to becoming a bench jeweler, it’s been an incredible journey.
There’s been so much growth—pushing my limits, investing time, and holding onto a “can do” attitude that made all of this possible. While the company has grown into what it is today, some things haven’t changed. I’m still the one making the jewelry, running the shop, taking the photos, answering the phone, and teaching the workshops. The passion and love behind it all have never changed, and never will.
Happy 8th birthday to the first company I ever started. Kauai Handmade will always be my baby.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout the years. You are the pillars of this foundation, and I’m so appreciative for each and every one of you.
