One Design, Multiple Ways to Make Money

When you know how to digitize, one idea can become more than a finished shirt.

You can digitize the artwork, sell the embroidery file, stitch it onto finished products, and use the process to create content that markets your business. That’s how you begin building a money-making ecosystem around your embroidery skills. This is the exact formula that I have used.

Want to learn how to design, digitize, and stitch projects like this football design? It’s not too late to join the Digitizer’s Boot Camp inside the Embroidery Mastery Community!

We’re going live for Session 2 today, and we’re starting with the foundations. Throughout nine sessions, you’ll practice the skills needed to create your own designs—and learn how digitizing can open additional income opportunities within your embroidery business.

Can’t attend live? Every session is recorded and posted shortly afterward, so you can catch up and learn on your own schedule.

And if you simply want to stitch this football design, it is listed and available for purchase now!

Not every business investment is exciting—but some are absolutely necessary.

Between digitizing software, embroidery programs, video editing, content creation, and storing countless design files, my old laptop was constantly running out of space. I was deleting things I still needed just to make room for the next project, and it was beginning to slow down the way I worked.

So, it was officially time for an upgrade.

This is another side of being a working mom and business owner: recognizing when the tools you depend on are no longer keeping up with the business you’re building😮‍💨

Embroidery will always be at the heart of my content, but there is so much more happening behind the scenes—technology, business, content creation, motherhood, and everyday life. I’m excited to share more of those pieces and create space for partnerships that naturally fit the life and business I’ve built. We taking this embroidery thing to another level and y’all coming with me🙌

Here’s to more storage, fewer deleted files, and hopefully a much smoother workflow HP

Imagine being able to digitize the embroidery, create the matching rhinestone template, and bring the entire project to life yourself.

That’s what we’re working toward inside the Digitizer’s Boot Camp. We’ll start with the foundations, build your skills over nine sessions, and finish by creating a mixed-media design like this.

The boot camp starts TODAY—but don’t let missing the first live session stop you from joining. Every session will be recorded and organized inside the boot camp folder, so whether you join today, tomorrow, or later this week, you can catch up and revisit the lessons whenever you need them.

But the longer you wait, the more you’ll have to catch up on—and other embroiderers will already be creating their own designs for the holiday season.

Don’t wait until you see everyone sharing what they created and wish you had joined us.

The Digitizer’s Boot Camp starts this Tuesday inside the Embroidery Mastery Community!

We’ll have nine live sessions every Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00 to about 3:00 p.m. Central.

We’re starting at the beginner level using Embrilliance StitchArtist and building your skills to a confident beginner-to-intermediate level.

Because quarter four is right around the corner, the entire boot camp will have a holiday theme. We’ll be creating Christmas designs while learning the foundations of digitizing, proper sequencing, and how to get smoother stitch-outs.

All sessions will be recorded and will live inside the community, so you can watch the replays and revisit the lessons for as long as you’re a member.

If you’re ready to learn how to create your own holiday designs, join us inside the Embroidery Mastery Community!

Who invented the term “stay-at-home working mom?” Because staying home has somehow turned into working every shift😂

Groceries, dinner, school pickup, embroidery, content—and running a business in between. Holiday season is coming, the Digitizer’s Boot Camp is almost here, and somehow I keep adding to my plate.

I always get it done, but “I’ll figure it out” cannot continue being my entire business plan🤦🏾‍♀️

The design I’m stitching in this video was this week’s Digitize, Stitch & Learn tutorial inside the Embroidery Mastery community! Both the tutorial and the design will be available shortly.

And if you’re joining us for the boot camp, you’ll also get access to all the designs I digitized this past month and the previous month. You can stitch them, follow along with the tutorials, and start practicing before we meet for camp.

The Digitizer’s Boot Camp starts September 1st!

From September 1–30, I’ll be hosting nine live digitizing sessions inside the Embroidery Mastery community. We’ll meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 1–3 p.m. CST to strengthen your foundations, improve your sequencing, and prepare you to digitize your own designs for the holiday season.

A few important details:

• All digitizing demonstrations will be taught in Embrilliance StitchArtist. I will mostly reference levels 2 Level 3.
• Silhouette Studio will be used during our mixed-media lesson to create a rhinestones template.
• You should already have a basic understanding of embroidery and how designs stitch out. This is not an introduction to machine embroidery. Lessons will be packed and paced fast. Rewatch the lesson on a phone/tablet and practice along from your computer.
• Current Embroidery Mastery members already have access—no additional purchase is required.

Not a member yet? Comment BOOTCAMP, and I’ll send you the link to join us.

Last holiday season, I made nearly an additional $12,000 from selling digital embroidery designs - and it completely changed how I viewed this side of my business.

I never set out to sell designs. I simply started listing them because whenever I shared something I had created, you guys would ask if the file was available. Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with the process, too.

Now I’m using the hours between school drop-off and pickup to prepare my business for quarter four—digitizing, test-stitching, making adjustments, and stitching each design again before it reaches my shop.

This year, I’m starting earlier and building intentionally because I already know what’s possible. Have you started preparing your business for the holiday season yet?

If you’re ready to learn how to digitize your own designs, join me for the Digitizer’s Bootcamp, happening September 1–30 inside Embroidery Mastery. We’ll build your skills throughout the month so you can start creating your own designs for the holiday season.

Two months post reconstructive jaw surgery - and I’m still learning to adjust to the changes in my appearance, my speech, and everyday life.

I’m healing, but I’ve also decided that I’m not going to disappear while I do it (Which was the original plan). I’m going to keep showing up, sharing my journey, and letting you see more of the life behind Embroidery Mastery.

So you may notice my content shifting slightly. The embroidery and digitizing tutorials aren’t going anywhere, but I’ll also be sharing more business content, behind-the-scenes moments, and honest insight into the income we’ve been able to generate through embroidery.

There’s much more to this journey than stitches and after everything I’ve been through I’m finally ready to share it all. For those of you who are new, I had a tumor in my chin that had to be removed or it would have eventually taken over my face🥺

This ordinary life was once the goal.

A little over four years ago, my husband and I left our hometown and moved thousands of miles away from our family, friends, and everything familiar. We didn’t have much support for our decision, but we knew the kind of life we wanted to create for our family.

Has it been easy? Absolutely not.

There have been many struggles, my tumors and major surgery, and so many moments when I questioned - or even regretted - our decision. But through it all, we continued to show up.

I believe there is power in saying you’re going to do something, creating a plan, setting the goals, and then actually doing what you said you would do. That is what we’ve spent the last four years doing.

Our life isn’t extravagant. We live within our means, raise our girls, work hard, and continue building the life we once only talked about.

That’s why Embroidery Mastery means so much to me. What started as something we believed in has become a business that supports our family - and we get to make a living doing something we truly love.

Taking a chance is one thing. Continuing to believe in it when life gets difficult - and finding a way to make it work - says so much about who you are.

So yes, I’ll always share embroidery. But I also want to share more of the wife, mother, woman, and family behind the brand. Because when I think about everything it took to get here, this ordinary life feels pretty extraordinary to me🥹

You can keep saving digitizing videos - or you can finally learn how to create designs like this yourself.

In this reel, I’m sharing my digitizing workflow and a few of my favorite tips while creating this spooky cat from start to finish. But this is only a glimpse of what we’ll cover during the September Digitizer’s Boot Camp.

From September 1–30, we’ll meet for nine sessions designed to take you from a beginner to a confident intermediate digitizer. We’ll focus on strong foundations, proper sequencing, smoother stitch-outs, and creating your own designs for the upcoming holiday season.

If you’ve been watching, saving posts, and telling yourself you’re going to learn “one day,” this is your opportunity to stop waiting and start digitizing.

Quarter four is coming - and this time, you could be creating the holiday designs you need instead of searching for the perfect file.

Comment BOOTCAMP and I’ll send you a direct link to the Embroidery Mastery community, where the entire boot camp will be hosted.
