Christmas gifts for the grandkids. Popsi had passed in June and I was asked to make bears from some of his t-shirts. I added his name and a heart in his memory and reduced to pocket size so it could remind them of his favorite shirts. I also added a bow tie for the little boy and a lace collar for the little girl. “Keeping Memories Alive”

I was given this old quilt belonging to the person’s grandmother. Many of the squares were made from feed sacks as was the back. I worked to repair/replace about 26 of the squares mostly done by hand. I also fixed the border which had some major issues and replaced the binding on the edges. “Keeping memories alive”

I have actually sewn something I have been wanting to get done. The “Life in Colorado” quilt was made for a wonderful couple in Colorado. The “Fairies for Erin” quilt was purchased and cut by her mother quite a while back but didn’t get finished before she passed. It was found in her stash so I got the privilege of finishing it.
