I can’t stand a person who loves to steal your moment.

You have a bad day and they had an even worse day.

You buy new shoes and they just bought a car.

You got a promotion and they married a rich man.

Your kids got an A and their kids just met Obama in Walgreens.

Your hair is 20” long and they had 50” hair before the mama permed their hair.

Like girlllll can I live? Celebrate me with me and stop trying to have ONE UP!!

People dislike church because pastors beg for money.

We also hate TOLL roads but we use them to get to our destination faster.

GOD said the LOVE of money is the ROOT of all EVIL. “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”

He didn’t say needing money, wanting money, asking for money, providing money is the ROOT. But the “LOVE” of money is the root. The love of money has caused people to do dark and demonic things. I mean we see this demonic energy in our world daily. It’s nothing wrong with a church that’s providing service to you, to ask you to bless the church. The problem is leaders who have ILL intentions with the money earned.

We all need money to survive so I never understood the logic of pastors being POOR. GOD wants us to experience WEALTH on earth.

He just doesn’t want that desire to forsake our salvation or cause us to sell out.

Not all churches and pastors are greedy and pray about a church before you visit or join.

Stop telling women to be strong all the time.

Strength isn’t our only setting.
Sometimes we need to cry.
Sometimes we need to pout, collapse onto the bed, stare at the ceiling, and let the sadness breathe.
Sometimes we need a nap more than a pep talk.

Let us have the moment.

Let us feel without being rushed into resilience.
Sadness is not weakness & it’s part of being human.

We’ll get back up when we’re ready!!

Until then, allow us to be.
