What do you think?

I think the headline is misleading. I also know most resellers are not making a big profit on their items, it is the rare item that they get "big money" for. The real issue is not small business owners diverting clothing from landfills and providing access to people who don't have the ability to find the items they want - and for less than retail, but the CEO types of Goodwill, etc. earning millions off people donating free items. And the fact that people with very little means can no longer afford shopping at a lot of these larger secondhand stores. I can't tell you how many times I have seen clothing with issues (holes, pilling, stains, thread bare, etc.) with a price tag bigger than something from Walmart. I also think this article giving an example of someone posting 350 items a week and making over 10K a month is ridiculous. Almost no one does or can do that, and it gives a false narrative and creates haters of resellers who most of us do a lot of good, hard work and help the planet and people's budgets . . .

The resale boom has turned thrift stores into a $79 billion battle, as resellers hunt for underpriced items to flip online for a big profit.
