March and April gone...now May. I left the shop and disappeared to the farm woods. Came home ashamed of how I left the shop, but I'm tired. Today I cleaned the shop, made me an Iced tea and put my feet up. I gotta slow down. So shop is now presentable and workable again. Had a shop light go out but it's probably 15 years old so that's okay. Time to relax. Before and after.

Today's challenge color is Pink. Okay now all my close people know how I feel about the color pink. I thought it funny that the only things I have art wise that are pink are two things I adore. One is a huge grasshopper and the other is a silk print my Dad brought home from Japan after his military duty as an MP. This is the image I have chosen. Painted on silk, this piece is from 1945. 💗 artist unknown and probably passed on by now.

This week I've been challenged by Dragon's Crypt to post an assigned color pic each day. Today's color is orange. I've decided for this challenge to highlight other gifted people's talent. This drawing is "Portait of a Red Fox" by Jack Burdess. It hangs as a cherished piece in our living room.

Not sure what happened to April and half of May LOL. Have been everyday working leather to rebuild stock after conventions. I'm on the home stretch and it feels fabulous. Later next week on the table is a custom Raven head bag and a mask rework for a benefit auction buyer. I love what I do but am truly ready for a vacation weekend. It's in sight, then back to work for more upcoming conventions. Enjoy the pic of Emma as we took a walk yesterday.
