So far this week and last, I’ve hemmed 19 pairs of pants. I’ve done Sewing Repairs on quite a few summer outfits. I altered some dresses for a woman who will be traveling for a while.
If anyone has slacks or pants or dresses that they need hemmed, tailored, or repaired, you need to get them to me by Tuesday, because I will be leaving on Saturday morning for a cross country road trip with my two daughters and my grandson and I will not be returning until the end of April.

Do you need your spring clothing to be repaired or hemmed? Now’s the time to do it!
I’ll be leaving for a road trip on March 28, and will not return until April 15.
Call or text me this week so I can make sure your clothing is ready to go for the season! 😊👍

Lots of hemming pants and repairing winter clothing. Lots of alterations to vacation clothing for the snowbirds who are leaving the frigid north for warmer weather. A couple of bridesmaid dresses for a February wedding.
That’s what I’ve been working on while holed up in my nice warm house.
If there’s anything I can do for you, give me a call! The turn around time is good! 😁👍

I sometimes forget how much I love to sew/create. It truly bring me joy to put an idea to life.
That being said, I can/will only sew when my mind is clear and my surroundings are quiet and uninterrupted. Maybe that’s the ADHD, or maybe it’s something else, but either way, when it’s quiet and I’m alone, I sew…….🥰
This morning is one of those times.

Hi, everyone!
It’s getting to be that time again: I’m leaving for the shore in the week after Mother’s Day! I’ll be back in October!
I love to spend my winter and spring sewing six days a week from October until May, but now it’s time to let it go for the next six months to crab and fish and sunbath and hike and swim, etc……
If anyone has an emergency job, it’s only a two hour drive and I’ll come back to do it! But otherwise, please message me for recommendations of people and businesses that I have recommended in the past and whom I trust completely to do a good job for your sewing needs!
See you in the fall!

"He is risen" is a statement, often spoken on Easter Sunday, that refers to the Christian belief that Jesus Christ rose from the dead after his crucifixion. It's a declaration of victory over death and a source of hope and joy for believers. The phrase is often used as a greeting or a way to proclaim the central truth of Christianity.
The phrase "He is risen" is rooted in the Gospel accounts, particularly in Matthew 28:5-6, where an angel tells the women who visited the tomb that Jesus is not there, but has risen as he said. This passage emphasizes the empty tomb and the fulfillment of Jesus' prophecy about his resurrection.
The resurrection of Jesus is a pivotal event in Christian theology, as it signifies the victory of good over evil and the promise of eternal life for those who believe. The phrase "He is risen" serves as a reminder of this hope and a celebration of the transformative power of Christ's resurrection.

Hi everyone! It has been incredibly busy in the month of April. First of all is prom season, and bridesmaids season, and every time I knock out 8 gowns, there are eight more new ones! On top of that, I am moving my sewing room to the top floor of the house, so I’ve redone the room, and there’s no danger of interruptions, or stress, or dog hair, or the smell of a cigarette, or the smell of food cooking in the next room. My sewing room will finally be my own room, where I can create calmly in private. I’m so excited. I sew every day usually for about six hours, and I have forgotten to take many pictures because now that spring is here I’m ramping myself up to go live for six months at my favorite place in the world, my camper at the beach. I just included some pictures of a few of the gowns that I’ve been working on, and also a picture of the room painted bright white. I’ll show you more pictures once I get around to it, but I have four gowns to sew by Tuesday.
I just wanted to keep y’all updated. I love you guys, and I’m always excited for your feedback or your review of my page or my services.
I am still accepting appointments until the last week of April, because I plan to leave on May 1 and return after Labor Day 😊

And of course, after spending a weekend with this beautiful lady, I am having withdrawal! So the past couple of days, I made her a crib blanket. It’s white soft fleece on both sides, with pale pink, green, and blue fringed edges. Of course it’s completely machine washable! And it will wrap her in my love! 💕🩷😍🥰
