Our power was knocked out by the tornado that ripped through town last night…we have a small generator that we have been rotating between the sump pump, fridge and brooder plates.

Unfortunately we have already lost one chick through the night. Crews have finally arrived this morning to work on the damage.

My eggs in lockdown and in the incubators are most likely a huge loss…

If you have pending chicks from me I am going to temporarily halt purchasing or pre orders until I know the impact of loss.

Apologies everyone. Even the loss of one is very upsetting.

This makes me laugh! Thankful for the lack of posting and not dealing with the mean people on fb 🤪 I might be tanking on fb and them sharing my stuff, but it’s been peaceful on here not having random people attack me 🙌🏼
