This weekend was FULL IN EFFECT! I was able to see my momma for her birthday, catch up with some family members and friends and even made new ones! We celebrated my Lil big sister Fanchon Fai Dinga birthday and we had a blast! I was surrounded by nothing but laughs, laughs, and MORE laughs! Overall, I enjoyed myself without any drama! Here's a Lil somethin' somethin' from the weekend!

On December 22nd, I married this man right here and 14 years later "WE'RE STILL TOGETHER!" (in my In Living Color voice 🤣).

Most people think that it takes two in order for a marriage to work, but that's not the case. It really takes three: you, your spouse, and GOD!!! He must be in the forefront of your lives at all times! The love for one another will be firm, strong and grounded when God is present in your lives.

As we grow together, we learn more and more about one another: what we like, what we don't like, what ticks us off, what makes us happy, etc. Marriage is not for the WEAK! Adrain Sanders is my best friend, my soulmate, my MAN! I did not post on our day, because it's not about what the world sees, it's about us just being able to enjoy each other's company and love every bit of it. Thank you for loving me and putting up with my craziness! 🤗


📒 SIDENOTE: We went to an Improv Comedy Club to see Mark Curry and I was laughing so hard last night, my stomach got abs! 🤣 But all in all, we had a great time last night. Little things makes us happy. 🥰

Today was an amazing day! The vendor EventsWith Amey was such a success! I met some dope women, I sold some of my inventory and I listened to many women dropping so many jewels that I know I can implement into my life and business!

I truly enjoyed myself and it just shows me that I am capable of doing whatever God has intended for me. He never gives up on me and I am so thankful for Him!!! 🙏🏿

I wasn't going to post anything because I haven't been operating actively in my clothing business and I even closed down my website for my own personal reasons, but I can't dummy it down and dismiss it as if it doesn't exist.

Today, makes 4 years since I began Mocha Motives Boutique and I must say it has been a long year trying to get myself used to being a teacher and trying to balance being a wife and a mother. I wanted to be my best in the classroom and my focus was on bettering myself as a teacher, learning from others who can help me take my career to the next level, and understanding each and everyone of my students. If you're a teacher, you know the struggle is real!!! However, I cannot neglect my baby: My business! I've had people hit me up asking me when will I put more stuff out, people saying they miss my videos when I say, "HEY MY BEAUTIES!!!", etc. With that being said, you will see new items coming soon in July and I'll be getting back in the public eye by attending a vendor event in August. It's going to take some time to get back to where I want to be, where I NEED TO BE, but if you love my clothing just as much as I love making them available to my BEAUTIES 🤗, you won't give up on me.
