I developed my love for sewing at a young age when my mom taught me how to sew a button to a piece of scrap fabric. I enjoyed sewing random fabric together to see what I could create, never using a pattern - "Miss Independent." Choosing Line and Design as my 4-H project in 4th grade was a great decision. From citizenship activities to state competiti

ons, I learned so much more than how to sew. I learned the importance of using my talent to help others. I am passionate about teaching kids how to sew, because it is an art that should never be forgotten.

She radiated a sense of confidence during my fitting; even though I was a bit nervous to let someone "cut on" my wedding dress. Her confidence was proven to be true, as my dress now fits like a glove and makes me even more excited to wear it on our wedding day!
