‼️🚨‼️🚨ATTENTION‼️🚨‼️🚨
There have been multiple scams going around Facebook for a while now. I just ran into one in my own inbox! Please be cautious with people you are speaking to and please ciew their profiles to make sure they are legit. These scammers are getting slick with the way they go about things. The one recently in my inbox managed to screen shot a picture of an item i have made and wanted it on a swear shirt. We went back and forth for a bit and they wanted to pay upfront. She asked about zelle/venmo and said ok send me info to send. Then wanted an email woth a screen shot stating that they needed it for verification purposes for business deals on their zelle account. Once that happens, you receive an email from “Zelle” (was not the real zelle) with what says that you need to go into your account and call the number on the email and have the sender send $300 plus whatever they sent in the account that way it can get processed. Once processed, that i can send the $300 back to the sender). Right then, I knew it was a scam. I reported the page and took screenshots of everything. PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS!! IT’S GETTING TRICKIER AND TRICKIER TO IDENTIFY WHAT IS REAL AND WHAT ISNT. I usually am very good at knowing what is a scam and what’s not but this was literally like a normal conversation like i’d have with one of my customers. ‼️‼️‼️‼️Be safe out there!!‼️‼️‼️‼️
