Tea Dress, early 1910s
~In the 1910s, tea gowns were popular attire for informal occasions, especially for afternoon tea. These gowns were typically made of soft, flowing fabrics like silk or chiffon, often adorned with lace or embroidery. They featured loose, relaxed silhouettes with empire waists, and were designed for comfort & ease of movement. With delicately detailed feminine touches, they were both stylish & comfortable for social gatherings.
This one is a perfect example. Unfortunately we do not know the maker.

But here is a 1940’s nautical inspired outfit made for Miss Harbor Hop contestant Kacie Sunshine! Doesn’t she look adorable? 🥰

I have not gotten full professional photos of this outfit yet so these will have to do!

Normally, I don’t do rush outfits. But this was for the final at Irwindale Speedway and my best friend had been one of 12 to be selected nationwide to participate in the Pinup contest. So this time, I made an exception.

This vintage play suit was inspired by the Alfa Romeo racing suits past and present, as a tribute to her grandfather who raced for Team Alfa Romeo in the 70s. The skirt is reversible to be worn either white side out, or checkered side out for the final moon eyes victory lap. A hand designed Alfa Romeo emblem was made by me. And our good friend made the logos for it.

Elizabeth Nidever is fierce and fire on stage no matter what. The outfit just enhances the natural beauty she already has.

Another commission done!!

I can’t wait for you all to see the full look on this one! As always, I never reveal the full outfits until after the contest.

But this one really came together on a short turnaround. I normally don’t do rush orders. But this was a special case.

WOW!!! 🤩
I really didn’t think I would say this so soon!
I also didn’t think I would ever say on sewing commissions!

But in an effort to make sure all projects are complete, and allow myself time to complete an outfit for VLV Queen of the Car Show (IF I make the stage), I am not taking any additional custom commissions until summer of 2025.

50’s wrap tops, custom candles, and bath salts will always be available for purchase!
