Our customers who have become beloved friends, John and Jennifer Trent, gave this to Mary at her 85th birthday party we celebrated at the Mercantile. It has hung on our wall of honor since. Today, we took it down but will be going to Mary's home to hang on a wall there. The perfect spot has already been picked out!

The last customers -- what a terrific, upbeat vibe they brought as we closed the doors tonight on the Merc. They also made a generous donation to the animal rescue box.
