Posted • A great day of pickleball in Fountain Valley yesterday at the Fall Open!

and I took 🥇in 5.0 35+, but we were also the only team to defeat the young gun 5.0 8+ champs! 🤩 Always a blast playing with you, Ace!

*And a special shout out to my pal and tournament founder/director for standing on the podium with me after Taylor had to jam before the ceremony! 😘

PS. No, the men were not required to wear gray shirts at this tourney! 🤣

Let me be clear, I love dogs. I have a 2 year old yellow lab who is my fur baby. And I honestly don’t mind if a mellow dog sits quietly on or near a court while their owner plays. Quietly.

But once the barking starts, I’m not a fan. And some clubs allow dogs on the court as long as they’re leashed.

Hive mind, tell me your thoughts.

We did it! 🥇🥇

On our third tournament together, and I bested the field of 10 4.5 teams, going undefeated to take the crown at the Tournament of Champions this weekend!

We were especially stoked to get our first win against the fierce and Eric Johnson 🤩

Thanks to CAPA founders, and for putting on another fantastic, well-run event!

And shout out to my pal and Vixen for competing in her first big tournament!

Okay, it’s not really for a friend. It’s me. As a former college tennis player, I used to be able to pick up a tennis racquet after months (or years) of not playing and at least be able to drive a forehand with some ease.

I’ve now been relegated the ability level of someone who, “played a few times at my summer camp once” 😳
