Welcome new customers! Mike and Tim are rocking the repairs these days and we thank you all for the work. While Dan is semi-retired and moved to Texas, he is still the spiritual inspiration and the guys have truly carried on the ethic that has made our shop one of the favorite service businesses in the music community.

It's been 36 years since I opened TOP GEAR. I want to thank all of our customers for making it possible. I will miss you. I have moved to San Antonio, Texas and am semi-retired.

Tim Pinnell and Mike Boone, who have been with me for decades, are taking over the shop and will keep up the great service you've come to expect from TOP GEAR. Many thanks to them also.

Be sure to have your gear ready for any upcoming live gigs! Please allow at least 2-3 weeks for routine maintenance and more if you need extensive refurbishing.

As we open up society after the Covid issue, live music is returning. If you need your instruments or amplifiers serviced, we urge you to plan ahead. Our lead times are generally about 2 weeks, sometimes less, sometimes more, so be advised.

Top Gear is operating as usual except for masks and social distancing. Our turnaround times are a bit longer, but other than this we're open as usual 5 days a week, Mon - Fri 12noon to 6pm.
We are closed weekends & holidays.

Looking forward to us all getting back to something like normal in 2021!

A pallet of new Gibson Adam Jones 1979 Les Paul Custom Silverburst guitars was stolen from a truck at the Flying J Travel Center in Whiteland, Indiana on October 30, 2020.

We are grateful for all the business we are getting in this difficult time, but with so many of our friends and customers out of music work, and possibly out of "day job" work, we aren't sure how long it can last. People need help, and our own experience with obtaining assistance while we were shut down completely for nearly 2 months says that they need to also streamline the process. This is one of the things that NAMM does to help its members, and eventually help you musicians out there.

On September 24 the NAMM executive committee leadership cosigned an urgent letter to House and Senate leaders, Pelosi, McConnell, McCarthy, and Schumer, urging them to act now to provide provisions for the hardest-hit businesses to access additional PPP funds, long term, low-interest loans, and supp...
