MetalSunglasses.com was founded in 2000 with the mission to deliver the nearly impossible to find Gatorz Aluminum Eyewear to the public. We were the first major online dealer for Gatorz, and we have remained the world's #1 Gatorz retailer since then. As more and more customers demanded Aluminum Eyewear for motorcycle and military applications, we grew to offer additional Aluminum Sunglass brands,

including OutLaw Eyewear, WildSide Eyewear, and Grix Eyewear. In 2005, we expanded our business to meet the demands of our customers that need Prescription Extreme-Wrap sunglass for riding their motorcycle, or for military uses. We started an optical laboratory, with a trusted partner, to fabricate this extremely specialized and difficult to make product for our extreme wrap frames. We only use the highest quality shatter-resistant lens material in the computer controlled lens fabrication machines. We can make standard Single Vision for distance, all the way to Progressive or Bi-focal lenses for close and distance vision correction. We can make regular gray, Polarized Gray, clear, or the extremely popular Extra Dark Transition day-night lenses. We sell mostly the Extra Dark Transition lenses so you just have to bring 1 pair of glasses with you for day and night use. For the image conscious customer, we can put color chrome coatings on the lenses, such as Silver, Electric Blue, Dark Blue, Orange, Red, Sunburst, Green, and Gold. Heavy duty lightweight glasses

Safety glass status is very good.

Awesome Sunglasses
I was extremely impressed with these sunglasses and the ability to customize them to my face. Unfortunately I had a few problems. The lenses were scratched and pitted with just normal daily wearing. Secondly the nose piece which is screwed in place became lose and I discovered the looseness was that the screw would no longer tighten.
I contacted Outlaw Eyewear and was immediately called on a Sunday no less. After discussion the conclusion was that Amazon had apparently shipped me a recycled/defective pair of glasses that were damaged from an earlier customer. Outlaw Eyewear has since rectified the issue. Working with this company, along with the quality of the new pair of sunglasses is terrific.
