With Mahjong becoming such a hit at the shop, we’re thrilled to now offer the beautiful tiles, mats, and accessories from Oh My Mahjong.

Our guided Mahjong classes at The Lafayette Mercantile have been a huge hit over the past two months — and we’re just getting started. With guided lessons, sips + apps, and just enough competition to keep it interesting, it’s no wonder everyone is obsessed.

Each class seats up to 8 players (with a minimum of 4 to play), so grab your girlfriends or come ready to make new ones.

Three years ago, I opened these doors with a big dream and a lot of heart — hoping to create a space that feels welcoming, charming, and full of little things that make people feel seen.

What I don’t talk about enough is how fu***ng hard this is.
Some days you feel like you’re doing great… and other days you feel like you’re failing at everything. There are moments of doubt, exhaustion, and wondering if you’re getting it right at all.

But then you walk through the door.
You shop small. You say kind things. You come back. You tell your friends. And that — somehow — is what makes me keep going.

This year brought big shifts and brave choices, and I’m officially pouring all of myself into this shop — fully present, and excited for what’s ahead. There are new things coming, fresh ideas, and even more heart being poured into this space.♥️

And to my shop girls — my little family here — thank you for the heavy lifting, the long days, the laughter, and the love you bring into this place. I truly couldn’t do this without you.
