Henōhea was born in the ash of the hardest year of our lives.

When the fire claimed five generations of our ancestral family home in Lahaina, we faced an immediate choice.

We could let the heartbreak consume us, or we could turn that profound loss into an unyielding promise to our Lāhui.

We chose to build a sanctuary, crafting clothing free from toxic plastics, honoring our history, and creating a native business that actively funds the restoration of our home town.

Every single piece we design fuels that promise.

The Best of Hawaiʻi Mākeke cleared out so much of our inventory this past weekend, especially in our Koa and Sunset colorways across multiple styles.

Knowing how many of you live off island or couldn’t make it out, we made sure to hold back a small handful of pieces for the website before the event started.

Pictured here is the Riley in Koa, the sister suit to our Olena, cut 1 inch shorter in the torso with adjustable straps for a dialed in fit. We crafted it in a substantial, double layered Tahiti REPREVE® that provides supportive hold, stays completely opaque wet or dry, and transitions effortlessly into a staple everyday bodysuit.

Inside, the lining is printed with our signature handwritten affirmations, straight from our journal during PPD to your suit, as a loving reminder of how beautiful you are.

From Lahaina to Oʻahu, we’re heading over for the Hawaii's Finest Clothing Best of Hawaiʻi Mākeke this weekend at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall starting TOMORROW.

We’re bringing early access to the new pieces debuting at this event, so you can feel the quality and weight in person before anything drops online.

We keep our production to small, intentional runs using breathable, plant derived fibers like tencel, organic cotton and bamboo, built to be gentler on sensitive skin and respectful of our ʻāina.

Once a size clears out, there are no restocks.

Every single purchase directly supports the THE HENŌHEA FOUNDATION, funding living pantries to grow food, restore the soil, and nourish our ‘ohana and community as they return home to Lahaina.

I really did pray for this life….

A small business I can grow and scale from our tiny home in the middle of the Lahaina burn zone, while still being as present as I can with my ‘ohana.

I was packing for our next off island event at sunset today and got so distracted by life happening all around me.

My toddler chasing our dog around the yard, then running off to his bubba while he fixes his project yota so he can start driving it to school.

I even caught them sitting on the tailgate together watching sunset and I thought, wow…

MAHALO KE AKUA for blessing us with a life I could only dream of 3 years ago.

When I say mahalo for supporting our small business, I mean it with every part of me. I couldn’t do this without all of you.
