Dance Biz Etc. Dance Biz is all about dance but we also sell much more! Special and unique gifts for everyone!! At Dance Biz we specialize in dance apparel and shoes.

Dance will always be our first love, but we also sell unique gift items or something to treat yourself. We do Cajun aprons and we can do personalized aprons as well. Just ask us about custom aprons for you or your organization. Dance Biz can also do customs t-shirts as well as lots of fun t-shirts. It is with a heavy heart that we take this time to inform you that we are closing our store. This has been an exciting and fun journey and we could not have done it without all of our awesome customers. We opened Dance Biz for several reasons, it was once a staple in our community for many years and we really wanted to bring that back to you, even if it was under different ownership. It was always our goal to bring you the best in dancewear at affordable prices and that was what we strived for. It was tough in the beginning because we had to find new vendors in order to accomplish this. Some of these vendors you had never heard of and transitioning to them proved to be a little bit of a challenge. You guys proved to us that quality products at affordable prices was much better than the "brand names" overpriced merchandise. For this, we are forever grateful. You allowed us to grow and continue to serve you when we weren't even sure if we would have to close as soon as we opened up.
Things were great and business was better every year, then COVID hit and then two hurricanes.
If I can be honest it was a real gut punch because not only did we lose so much with COVID, the hurricanes took out several dance studios. We experienced delays and not knowing when an order might come in because suppliers were unable to deliver their product because they couldn't get their raw materials. It was a vicious cycle. It seems the large online stores and Amazon had the products but the actual brick and mortar stores, the small businesses, struggled to maintain their inventory. To make matters worse, wholesale prices went up and continued to go up.
Prices increased 20% to 50% on our inventory in less than 2 years. That is a tough pill to swallow for not only for the consumers but small businesses as well. It no longer made sense for us to operate in this capacity but we still tried the best we could. In the end, it just wasn't enough for us to turn any kind of profit.
So now that our chapter with Dance Biz is coming to an end we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for shopping with us. Thank you to our regular customers, new customers and those of you who shared our Facebook posts, that meant so much to us. We have been blessed to bring you dancewear for a little over 6 years. We love you guys!!
We do have one more request before we turn off the "open" sign and shut and lock the door for the last time, and that is to take advantage of some really great dancewear, tights, shoes, gift items and much more for 40% off. It is worth your trip to Dance Biz to purchase some great items for a fraction of the cost. We look forward to serving you one last time. Thank you again and may God Bless each and every one of you.
