Lepidobatrachus laevis more commonly known as Budgett's frog, wide-mouth frog, or hippo frog.

They have a large head that makes up to 1/3 of the body, with notably an extremely large mouth. Their mouth contains a top row of teeth and two "fangs" on the lower jaw. They have extremely short and stubby limbs and the forelimbs are unwebbed.

This frog is not recommended for beginners but a great addition for a skilled handler!

Native to South America, these colorful frogs do well with live plants and things to climb and hide on. These are awesome pets. They do not get very big but they are beautiful to watch.
