We will be closing our Lake Forest location by or about June 30, 2019. We will be having a closing sale near the end of the month. Please check back for the start days of our sale. It's Record Store Day today, Saturday, April 22nd. To honor that we are giving everybody 10% off your entire purchase today on New and Vintage Vinyl Records and related media. We don't participate in the formal Record Store Day promotional record items but have just received 100s of new arrivals that are selling out fast. Happy New Year - 2017

We will be open from only 11am to 5pm this evening. Hey, this is a family business and we need to spend time with family so we are closing a few hours early.

Joe's Top 10 Classic Rock LPs of All Time

It's the morning before Christmas and I realized it's a work day. Damn, when I was a kid and didn't have to worry about paying the bills. it was the day before the best day of the year and I would be aroused from my warm bed to the smell of my Mom's and Grandma's really good cooking. Yeah, hot gooey cookies for breakfast ("Don't eat those cookies while they are warm! It'll give you worms!!l", scolded Mom). Have to love those memories that they say are triggered strongest by your sense of smell. Here is a link for some of my memories based on our second strongest sense - hearing... Screw it, I'm not going to work today, just cook and bake some cookies. ("Don't feed any to the dog, it'll give her worms", comes a voice from the other room)
