I am a creative mother....err....wife....err...WOMAN who uses crafts as a form stress relief. I have a supportive & helpful husband, but with 4 kids (2 girls & twin boys), stress builds quickly. Also, I work 1 day a week as a nurse & the rest of the week I stay home with my children & babysit for a family friend. I have been told on several occasions that I should sell my creations (PRESTO!! page & an Etsy shop was created). I also have a severe allergy to formaldehyde & other preservatives. Label reading has shown me that even things marked "sensitive" or "hypoallergenic" does not mean it really is. There are very few store bought products I can use with out a reaction that causes my skin to itch, then blister, and then become excruciatingly painful. Through label reading & research, I have found, made, & use a lot of harsh chemical free items. I get the inspiration for my handiwork by all the talented & creative people around me. Not only those who are physically part of my little corner of the globe, but from those in the cyber world as well. My inner soul has this way of looking at something & finding a way to tweak it, making it better, quicker, easier & cheaper, (all the while having fun & relieving stress). I can't help it, it is automatic. So, with the help of facebook & Etsy, I will finally be able take the suggestion of many & I will have an outlet for my concoctions where I can make a profit to support my habit.
