LET'S GO ON A ROAD TRIP!

The Vintage Shop Hop is a two-day, self-guided road trip to any of over 400 vintage and antique shops, ladies' boutiques, home decor stores, upscale consignment, and barn sale events in Illinois and Wisconsin. What makes this such a fun and unique event? For one thing, many of the shops are located in fun and unusual locations or buildings or structures. Today we highlight The Vintage Flip in Lake Mills, Wisconsin.

This fabulous building, located on a residential street within steps of downtown Lake Mills, was built in 1891 by the United Brethren Evangelical Church. In 1968 they merged with the Methodist church and the two congregations built a new church elsewhere. It then housed a Masonic Lodge, then privately owned. In early 2000 the interior was remodeled to preserve several of the features that make the structure so unique including rich wood moldings, vaulted ceilings, and original stained-glass windows.

In 2020, right before covid, The Vintage Flip took possession and has made it their home ever since. Last year Jennifer created vendor spaces on the lower level adding even more fun for shoppers. Today you can browse the two floors filled with unique gifts, home accessories, and antiques. You can also immerse yourself in their vibrant workshops and explore a world of creative classes. You'll find 15+ vendors with furniture, vintage tidbits, jewelry, florals, home accents, and more. They will combine the Vintage Shop Hop weekend with their Spring Open House! Get a free Vintage Shop Hop coffee mug with a purchase over $50. Door prizes and gift basket drawings all weekend! They'll be open from 10am to 5pm both days!
