👕 DTF vs. SUBLIMATION — What’s the difference?
Ever wonder why we use different printing methods for different products? Here’s a quick breakdown! 👇
🖤 DTF (Direct to Film)
DTF gives us tons of flexibility! It works on cotton, polyester and blends, can be used on light OR dark colors, and is great for detailed, vibrant designs.
🔥 Sublimation
Instead of sitting on top of the material, sublimation ink actually becomes part of it. That means no raised design or film to feel! It works best with polyester or specially coated sublimation products and produces bright, long-lasting colors.
So which one is better? Neither! 🙌
It all depends on what we’re creating, the material, color and look we want to achieve.
That's part of what we do at RichArtson’s Creations LLC—choose the process that makes the most sense for YOUR custom piece. ❤️
