Thank you to everyone who stopped by to see us yesterday!

It brings us a great deal of pride to hear how many of you found us on Facebook and made a point to come looking for us. We get plenty of interest here on social media, but it still amazes us how many of you go out of your way to find us when we set up somewhere.

It's a small reminder that our goal of keeping Old Florida alive is reaching people, and that means more to us than you know.

We genuinely enjoy our market days. Although we haven't been doing this very long, we've already learned to recognize our two most frequently asked questions before they're even finished:

"How much are your shirts?"

And, of course...

"So, where exactly is Grove Road?" πŸ˜‚

We love the conversations, the stories, and hearing everyone's memories of the Florida we grew up knowing. That's what Grove Road Native is all about.

Thank you for continuing to support us and for being part of what we're building. 🌴🍊

The chase is on! πŸ—πŸ•
Nothing says Old Florida quite like a pack of hog dogs, a wild boar, and red clay flying!
Two new Grove Road Native designs bringing a little Florida hunting tradition together with the orange groves and landscapes we grew up around.
Which one are y’all picking? The classic Old Florida sunset or the orange grove backdrop?

🍊 A Lake Wales Company That Helped Change Florida's Citrus Industry!

Long before Petersen Industries became known for its grapple trucks, its roots were planted right here in the Florida citrus industry.

In the 1950s, Lake Wales native John β€œJohnny” Petersen developed the Lightning Loader, an invention that changed the way oranges were harvested and loaded. Before his invention, workers had to manually lift heavy 90-pound field crates onto trucks.

His equipment helped revolutionize citrus harvesting, making the process faster, easier, and more efficient for growers across Florida.

Johnny Petersen's contributions were so significant that he was inducted into the Florida Citrus Hall of Fame in 2000.

From the orange groves of Central Florida to equipment used across the country, Petersen Industries is another reminder of the innovation and hardworking people who helped build our hometown.

🍊 A Florida orange grove in full swing.
Ladders against the trees, picking bags over shoulders, and field boxes filling up one orange at a time.
There was a whole lot of hard work behind every crate of Florida citrus. Long days, tired backs, and generations of hardworking folks who helped make citrus such a big part of our state's history.
For some, this was just another day on the job. For others, it's a picture that brings back a lifetime of memories.

We are excited to announce we will be at Pioneer days the weekend the 24th! Make sure you come on by.
