Hi from Savannah, GA. We are all good from the recent Hurricanes. Just wanted to let you all know that I am working for the Arts university, called SCAD. I am a Technical Designer. I assist the professors with sewing construction, pattern design and draping. Right up my alley!!!

I wanted to thank everyone once again for your patronage, as I am closing my doors permanently. I would like to recommend a wonderfully talented seamstress, for women only, that has been sewing professionally for over 20 years. Some big news. Great for me, bad for you. I have just been hired as the Altetations Manager at David's Bridal in Vernon Hills. This means I will not be reopening my Alterations business. But all is not lost, David's Bridal wants to be your tailor. They are taking in clothing, dresses, gowns, ect... that is not bought in the store. So, if you buy a gown at JC Penny's, they can do the Alterations. I met the team of sewers and they are very good. I can whole heartedly recommend them with your formal wear. Thank you all for supporting me throughout the years. It has been my pleasure serving you and getting to know you. Maybe I will see you at David's Bridal some day.

Due to the recent CDC recommendations, I am reopening to make 100% cotton maks with wire inside the mask to shape around the nose area. If you are looking for masks, I will make them for you. I only ask $5.00 per mask to cover material costs. There are two styles. Surgical style(red) or seam down the middle(yellow). Colors vary. If you are interested, contact me here. Here is a junior bridesmaid dress I made from scratch. It was made from her mother's 1st wedding gown. The story is very touching and sad. I was honored to be able to make it and make the dress come to life again.
