Fur or feathers that surround the face, or the necks of birds and mammals to provide warmth. As born and bred Minnesotans, we know that with the right gear, there’s no such thing as too cold. However, we’re often faced with the choice of looking great and freezing, or staying warm in frumpy gear. Namakan Fur bridges the gap between winter style and comfort, from the head down. Our

first product is our original ruff– a stunning, American-made faux fur ruff that attaches to any hood with a magnetic design, adding a luxe and personal (and warm!) touch to your winter coat. There's a whole science explanation for why our ruffs work (ask us if you wanna know), but here’s the gist: fur ruffs provide a buffer between your face and the cold air.

Should you tuck in the fur trim on your hood? We say do what you want, but creating a pocket for your face with the fur on the outside of the hood is where it’s at! Let us know if you want to try one of our ruffs, .xo! And yes I am going to a grinch themed Christmas party, hence the outfit.

This is a balaclava.

But for me it’s a part of my bring-your-own-comfort-strategy that gives me “I’ll be in my trailer” privacy even as I sit with 123 other people at Gate C38

It creates personal space, where there is none. especially in planes but trains, buses and family mini vans too.

It’s also from Goods a woman owned Minnesota company that I’ve been buying from for years because no one knows more about winter than women from Minnesota!
