Summer has entered the chat. Here are some summer items being worn for play!

My custom orders will not open until June. I apologize if you’ve been waiting. I also work as a teacher at an outdoor school. And April and May are very busy for me. BUT I have been sewing! I do have a few items I am dropping on the website this week: Upcycled skirts in women’s sizing, a hoodie, and a few shorts. Leave a message in the comments if you’re looking for a certain size. Maybe I can make that happen 😉

Why should you pick Upcycled kids grow clothes? (Besides being an environmentally conscious choice!) my clothes stand the test of play. And if your kid is especially hard on knees or inseam areas I can reinforce those with any custom order. You can also let them wear the clothes knowing I can repair their favorites . I can even make their favorites the next size up.

I’ve been doing some mending. I had already patched a heart on these woolie pants. But the other knee ripped out (as it does with kids clothes) so we’ve now reinforced and patched it.

These pants are an investment for kids. They are not cheap. Wool keeps you warm even when wet. And it’s a great base layer for kids who do lots of outdoor activities. Which is how these got the very large knee blowout.

BUT wool/knit pieces are sometimes not as durable as other materials. I patched these with wool upcycles. I could have matched the pants, but the customer (and mom) are happy with fun patches.

Also: she requested a mermaid, and I cleared the mercat with mom. ❤️
