💡 DID YOU KNOW?
Being professional does not mean accepting the runaround.
When you have repeatedly and respectfully requested payment, sales records, or an explanation and continue to be brushed off, there are places you can turn:
✅ Better Business Bureau
Submit a complaint at BBB.org to request a business response and resolution. BBB cannot force payment or close a business.
✅ Your State Attorney General
Contact the consumer protection division about suspected unfair or deceptive business practices. Whether they can handle your complaint depends on the situation, especially with vendor or consignment agreements.
✅ Federal Trade Commission
Report suspected scams or deceptive business practices at ReportFraud.ftc.gov. Reporting does not guarantee an investigation or payment.
✅ Civil Court
If your goal is recovering money owed, ask your local court about the appropriate claim process and filing costs.
📌 Keep your contracts, receipts, product lists, payment records, and screenshots. Document the dates you requested answers. Stick to facts you can prove.
An unanswered message alone does not establish fraud, but repeated silence does not mean you have to stop seeking accountability.
Professionalism goes both ways. Clear records, honest communication, and honoring agreements are basic business responsibilities.
