My bestie, Robin asked me to make this bunny for her newest coming granddaughter’s baby sprinkle. Robin gave me the pink satin robe, that was used the day of her son and daughter-in-❤️’s wedding, to make this special baby gift.

The satin was a little too thin, so I lined all the pieces to make the bunny sturdier and easier to stuff. I also had some faux fur in my fabric stash that was used for the inside ear and another piece that I machine embroidered the baby’s name to and stitched it to the tummy.

The lace, that I embellished above the feet and above the tail and the bow at the top of the ear, was also from the the robe.

This one was personal because these friends are like family! 💗

This was a fun dress to reimagine with and for my friend Jen for her wedding a little over a year ago! (The longer post with the details an pictures of the construction of this dress are on my page if you scroll back a little bit.)

It has taken a little while to get these photos, but I wanted to have the professional photos with Jen wearing the dress on her wedding day.

OK, one more post in relation to my second post. The bride gave me access and permission to share photos from her recent wedding.
I did some alterations on her beautiful dress. It needed to be taken in in the back at the zipper. The bow that came with the dress needed the snap sewn on the bodice. The bow also came with tails and the bride and I together made the decision to separate the tales from the bow so she could remove the tales for the reception so that it would work with the bustle better. The pictures don’t really show this too much, but she said it was an excellent solution.

I only have one picture of her niece wearing the dress I made. The picture when her father was walking down the aisle is where you can see the pocket square. Finally, there is a framed picture of her grandmother wearing the dress that was was used to make the flower girl dresses and the pocket square. Maura told me how thrilled she was with how everything came out and that makes what I do so meaningful to me as a seamstress! It was a pleasure to work with her! Congratulations Maura and Ben! May God bless you both!

2nd post…
Similar to the first post this dress was the bride’s grandmother’s dress. She had me make 2 flower girl dresses for her nieces, (ages 1 1/2 and 3). I also made a pocket squares. One for the ring bearer and one for her dad, as a surprise, since it was his mom’s wedding dress.

These came out so cute!

Here are the before and after pictures.

I haven’t posted a bunch this year but to end 2025 I have 2 posts.

1st post…In recent years my brides have come up with the some creative ways of reusing their mom’s or Grandmother’s wedding dresses.

In this case the bride brought in her mom’s wedding dress and wanted it remade so she could wear it for her rehearsal dinner as a surprise for her mom. Here are the before and after pictures. I love these kind of projects!

I found a small gold earring in my hallway over the weekend. I’m trying to find out who it belongs to. If you were at my house for a fitting within the last few weeks, let me know if it belongs to you..
