I've been sitting a lot lately, pondering about the future of The Bean Bag. I looked back and realized that I'm just over that five-year mark! She may not be mainstream. She may not be big. She may not always be busy, but she is mine and I've dreamt of having my own business since I was a little girl. I want to take this time to thank everyone who has supported stood by and tried to promote me. I have the best customers and friends!!
When I look into the future for The Bean Bag, I can definitely see focusing more on embroidery since that was my first love and art. I think that while screen printing is fun, it can also be taxing on a person's body and at times difficult. I will still continue to do screen printing for family and very close friends, I am going to start to limit what I do.
As many of you know this is Bryan and my second business. We will soon be having an Airbnb that will also take up some of our time with hopefully more coming!!!! Many of you also know that I have obligations with extended family that requires some of my time as well. You only live once and family has always been a very large part of my life.
So while The Bean Bag is up and going and excited for the future, I am going to be realistic about what I can and can't do. I'm just so extremely blessed to be able to create something that I've been so passionate about!!
