This has been an almost unbearable summer of tragedy, loss, & illness. I lost a dear friend yesterday and on top of everything else going on, I just can not manage to get myself together today. Thank you all for reaching out and keeping me and my family in your thoughts. And thank you for understanding & allowing me this day to rest and reflect. The store will be closed today and tomorrow. Hug your loved ones extra tight today. 💔💔💔

A Personal Update from Me ❤️

Over the last three weeks, many of you have noticed that I’ve been away from the shop or closed a few days.

My 85-year-old father suffered a devastating fall that resulted in a traumatic brain injury and emergency brain surgery. Since that day, my life has been spent almost entirely at the hospital, advocating for him, caring for him, and hoping for his recovery.

I haven’t been on vacation. I haven’t been taking time off. I’ve been sitting beside my dad while he fights for his life.

Trading Labels is a small business, and for the moment, it’s just me trying to balance my responsibilities to my customers with my responsibilities as a daughter.

I’m doing my very best to keep everything moving, but I kindly ask for your patience and understanding. A little grace means more than you know. Critical messages during a time like this have been incredibly difficult to read.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out with kindness, encouragement, and support. It has truly helped carry me through one of the hardest seasons of my life.

I appreciate every one of you, and I promise I’m doing everything I can to be back to normal as soon as possible.

A lot of you know my Dad. Well last Wednesday he took a bad fall and ended up at UMC Trauma. Yesterday he had brain surgery to remove blood from his brain. Made it through the surgery like a champ, at 86 years old. He is stable and vitals are good today. Needless to say it’s been a rough week. I have been at the hospital everyday and had to close the shop. I will however be there today and the rest of the week. Please come by and shop and give me a hug if you can. Needing all the support I can get right now.

Sooooo…..
Just today a gazillion things came in. And yesterday more than 250 new gorgeous things! Escada, vintage Charles Jordan bags, Dior, Hermes and more! We are overwhelmed and so grateful! Come say hi and maybe help us tag something. lol
